I am getting ready to pour my garage slab next week. I am hoping to pour early next week. tuesday or wed.

I plan on getting concrete for 3pm and have the pour done by 5pm at the latest.

Is there anyone from Regina that would be available to help give me a hand. Right now there is 2 of us and possibly a 3rd. I think 2 of us can handle it as I am ordering a special flowable self-leveling concrete. There is a $600 premium on the concrete but i will end up with concrete with a strength of 7500psi vs the standard 3000psi and it will be really easy to place and finish.

I just would like a couple extra hands incase something goes goofy during the placing and finishing.

Thanks

26x26.

Too bad you are not available earlier. Concrete trucks like to be back around 5pm thats why 3pm is about the latest i can pour at.

Weekends are not an option either.

Tuesday is not looking so good. I have the forms up and pretty straight, but I am getting different elevations everytime i set up the lazer level. I shot in 2 sides and then used a regular 4' level to do the rest and ended up 3" out. Then I shot it all in with the lazer level and confirmed the 3" difference. THen I set up again in the center to double check and I was out again by 3" Re leveled and then out by 1cm.

Not sure what to trust.

Also looks like I may be short a yard or 2 on gravel.

Steel has arrived and hope to have all the gravel I have to the point where I can start tying rebar.

Things are a lot more difficult though now that the waterpump blew up on the ford again. I now have no wheels again and am out of town over the weekend.

So looks like thursday will be the day rather then tuesday, unless a miracle happens...

I always work until 6pm. But let me know when you're ready to put the walls together. Smile

floor is done. 1 hour of placing and 30 minutes of finishing.

If anyone is doing a slab themselves i highly recomend using Lafarge. AGILIA concrete. 12m3 in 1 hour with 3 guys and hardly any effort.

Well worth the extra upcharge for the special Additive,.
