so here it is. i have a 22r and it starts and idles it idles a little high but pretty smooth. when i step on the gas it bogs it sounds like it sucking to much air.if you hold the gas it will bog and then rev up and sound good let off the gas and step on the gas again and it bogs. i rebuilt the carb that did not work. i just put a new intake gasket on that aslo did not work. thought it might be weak fuel pump. so i tryed on i had layin around still did the same thing. so what next?

fuel idle screw is out of adjustment...

it explains the adjustment in the factory service manual...

if you dont have one you can download it from here..

sounds to me like it is starved for fuel still. maybe there is a passageway or a jet still plugged.

check your fuel pump and filter again.

You can never have too much air...just not enough fuel,
