Had these springs and start cutting them up and welding them together. This what it ended up in the end. Yes it is comfortable.

It does have a little spring to it. I will be putting a finish on it. Not sure what yet.

Whatever you decide to go with, make sure its flexible. I would imagine your ride has some pretty sweet flex Cool

I wish I had the artistic ability to come up with stuff. I am a great "copier" but suck at original design.

I would leave all the patina and rust on it and just clear coat it on a matte finish.

This is exactly the way I felt before this class. You just need to start with a basic idea and than let it evolve. That chair started out as sculpture.
