i ended up having to move the 45 today so the contractors will be able to excavate the ground around the foundation this week... this truck is still such a good starting vehicle... running and idling, well not so much.. it needs a carb rebuild and tuneup in the biggest way from all the sitting it does but overall still pretty good once it wams up.. i decided to give the truck a good scrub and clean up the interior as well.. much nicer now... i sure would like to start driving this thing.. i may spend a few months with it next spring and get it running nice, throw some exhaust on and summer drive it.. i just have to figure out what people do when the top is off sinse there is no way to make the shoulder strap work sinse it connects to the hard top... mabey there are some lap belts i can get for it.. i ended up taking it up and down the alley quite a few times to stretch its legs a bit and it was fun..

when were shoulder straps manditory for saskatchewan??

anyways, i just felt like posting a few pics of the ole' 45...

I have 4 steel one piece if you want to "upgrade" your rims. I think they all have the cap snaps.

i actually have 5 brand new splits with rubber for this truck waiting to be put on but i may be interested in what you have.... i used to have a really rusty set of one piece rims with the clips but i tossed them like 8 years ago... yours are probably 15 inch rims??

funny, I just put 4 jeep service tires on the old Tundra rims. It took me longer to break the bead on ONE of those rusty split rims I had then to mount all four by hand.

I love that you can change tires and tubes on those things, but it's HARD work!

Shoulder straps were first mandatory in Canada in 1976. However, the Sask regs say that if it wasn't manufactured with them, you don't need them!
