So we were going to be getting a dog next month but the mother lost the litter so now it's going to be sometime in July Crying or Very sad We put a deposit down in November so its been a long wait.

I stumbled across an African boerboel and both my wife and I loved it immediately.

The breeder is in Ontario and from the research I have done they are one of the best in Canada.

Their web site: http://proudfootboerboels.weebly.com/proudfoot-boerboels.html

I decided to make leashes for the kids as surprise. All made with 550 paracord. The kids are 4' long and mine is 6' long. The 4' ones have 2 cords that are 35' long and 1 cord 16' so a total of 86' of cord. The 6' has 2 cords that are 50' long and 1 cord 24' for a total of 124' of cord.

Yellow/black is for my daughter and my oldest boy like the oilers so it the teams colors.

Mine is black/od green. Locking carabeaners and a black dimond figure 8.

So now I need to make one more 4' and my wife wants one made with reflective paracord for when she is running when it's dark.

I am hoping to keep it around 100$ a month. The plan is to do a BARF diet (raw meat). The calculation is 2% of the dogs final weight for food so I am thinking its going to be around 2.5-3 lbs a day. Also the breeder recommends 1 day of no feeding a week. So I am guessing 18-20 pounds a week @ about .90- $1.20 a pound.

There are a few company's that market raw food but its really expensive! Because we will be getting the dog when we are in halifax this will be the easiest for the short time that we will be there.(6 weeks).

After that I will be looking for deals around town on chicken, beef, goat, lamb. Stuff like chicken backs, necks, livers, tongues, hearts, pigs feet are the type of stuff that is cheep. I have already been looking and have found some good deals.

Here is a example feeding:

THEIA

She was the Titan goddess of sight (thea) and shining light of the clear blue sky (aithre). She was also, by extension, the goddess who endowed gold, silver and gems with their brilliance and intrinsic value.
