Need some parts for a 73 FJ40

My son dragged home a rusted 40 that has been sitting. It has had much butchery so we are looking for a carb and a rotor/cap ect.
Why you would paint the carb white and make the manifold gasket out of tire is beyond me.....

I cant help you for parts on either but have you checked trollhole on mud for that stuff?? he sells both carbs and such for a great price for both the cable and hard linkage carbs..

I'll give it a try thanks. We need a carb as this thing has an old GM carb swapped on.

trollhole carb is the way to go if you want an cheaper alternative to having a rebuilt stocker. I put one on my 45 and its perfect! runs like a top and needed no adjusting.
