so I am inquiring right now to see if I cant find an hj61 to a couple guys that I can use for the rolling chasis and drivetrain for rankenstein... I feel if I can get a beat up 61 with a 12ht/5sp/splitcase, I will be that much further ahead...and then I can have a diesel again as well which I will be quite excited abooot....

depending on what comes with this truck and what colour it is is there anything that the dude may want to buy from me???
-perhaps a powersteering box or any interior or body panels that may be in good shape...

this is all completely up in the air and there is a good chance nothing will come of it but looking on the jap auction sites it looks like you can buy an hj for a fairly good price....
perhaps this is maybe more of a pipe dream than anything.... (must lay off the pipe.. Laughing )

oh, its still there.... i do have all the parts to do the 350 except for a tranny which I will buy new... I have a toybox (duel t-case), the whole deal but I got tipped off in another direction and although I am pretty sure it wont pan out I have to explore it anyways.... I love my diesel cruiser lots and to have one with the same engine that the dude has, but in a vehicle thats 2000 pounds lighter, this would totally kick ass...

we will see...

not that I am really working on this truck right now, but I ended up selling all the 350 conversion stuff today so the big horse power plan is out the door for now... I have a lead on a diesel drivetrain perhaps so i am looking into it....
the new plan is to now go 3b diesel with a 5 speed and turbo the heck out of it.... that should give the go I need for that truck. heck, if a stock 3b pulls a full size 60 series around it should easily be able to pull this truck around no problem, especailly if its got some turbo action on it..

so as it stands I will be going 3b/5speed/toybox duel t-case/toyota splitcase t-case.. low gear will still be 215:1 so thats good.. I definitelly wont be breaking as bad as if I were to go with the sm465 and end up with almost 300:1.

still trying to fugure out a way to get a frame home from amigos for this build but that is another problem for another day...
