in the next coming weeks I will be starting progress again on extend-a-toy.... I am just waiting for the snow to come so my yard work can be officially over and i can get back to business.......(oh, and to be ready for april........... so what the fawk is in april????? Laughing )

here are a few refresher pics...

the first biggest priority is to get my output tcase flange redrilled for the newer driveshaft size and bolt size, then ebrake and actually get some sort of a floor and rockers back in this truck....

How's the progresss coming, I know you have your garage cleaned up!! (well except for the rest of my junk)

you should pick a night and I can motivate you on it. We need to get some more trucks running in this club.

nope. I bought 4.7s for the rear case....
my gear ratios are as follows...
3.93x2.28x4.7x4.56= 192:1

yeah, I am gonna need some 30 spline longfields... Cool

although rankenstein is getting 6.5x4.7x2.2x4.10= 275:1
I think bobby better make me at least a 40 spline birf for this truck or else I am in trouble Rolling Eyes

I am off all through Christmas and new years. I would love to do a club trip somewhere even for the day.

Geez! 275.1

And i rarely stay in first gear with my 3.06x2.28x2.28x5.29 = 84.1 plus the torque convertor helps to increase that as well.

what are you runnin for a motor?

3 litre for now till I can get something better.... I will go 3.4 when the right truck comes into amigos... I want the 3.4 with the standard behind it so I dont have to piss around with extra auto tranny wiring....plus I can use everything and will have to buy not much more to make it work...

well, I was at my shop last night and bent up a bunch of steel for my truck... I also used the press to bend up a "horseshoe" to put in one of my cross members to allow the driveshaft to go through..
I then came home fired up the heaters and worked in the garage till 2:30am.... it was a good night and it felt good to get back fabbin again...
just two pics...

it was a nice a sunny +15 in the garage today. I am really happy with the heaters that I bought!!! I can finally get some work done again!

this evening I got a lot started and partially finished.... I cut pretty much all the floor out now and got a lot done to the right side rocker... I managed to get a lot of steel cut tonight and ready for mock up too..
hopefully wednesday I can get back into the garage again and get more done.. here are the pics.. sorry for the haze.. it was mightly dusty in there!!

First and foremost, I want to thank BenP tonight for helping work on my truck this evening... he cut the rest if the drivers side rocker off and tacked in the new one as well helped out with everything else I was doing... Much appreciated!!! Wink
things sure go quicker when you have a skilled person helping me out...
at this rate I should have no problem getting the rest of this cab together by hopefully the end of the month..

we also fitted up the doors again to make sure all that body cutting and welding didnt warp something and then make the doors not fit anymore..everything is lining up very nicely and its awsome to see stuff fit together very well...

tomorrow and sunday is time to spend on finishing up my rockers, "horseshoeing" my crossmember and then installing my ebrake and such...after all that then i can frame my floor...

I sure cant wait to get a truck on the road again!!!
