It was an even better deal now. I did a bit of searching on the web and this sled had a recall on the engine. I checked with the dealer and they are ordering in the parts and will be replacing the whole top end of the engine at no charge on the recall.
I'm a pretty happy guy, nothing like a free engine rebuild.

you got horseshoes up your a$$... see if they are doing the bearings as well...it may be worth it to toss new bearings in at the same time and then it will never have to be opened up again.

yay.... I found my sled.. I want to thank everyone who has been sending me links to different sleds and websites.. all of the info has been quite valuable....

i ended up getting a 1995 indy trail deluxe...

it is in very good shape and looks terrific...

here is a pic of what it looks like.. i will post my pics later...

Looks great JP, should be a great little sled, give me a dingle in the new year if your planning on coming up north. I hope we get some more snow quick, we are at minimum right now. Enough to go anywhere but not deep enough to really have fun.....

Ya, those Indy where pretty bullet proof.. Does it have the heated everything, and reverse too?

Little brother drove one of those for years. We teased the hell outta him, but he always made it home..
