looks like a cool project


had them on a 94 pathfinder last year. Incredible in snow was driving around everyone who was stuck last year (some 4ft snow banks). Little noisy on the highway and suck on ice.

may have found an issue with my 3.4L swap

"If you are using a manual transmission, the 3.4L engine will need to come from a manual transmission vehicle. In SELECT year models we have found a difference in crankshaft machining from the factory. In these instances an engine from an automatic transmission application will not accept a pilot bearing."

you will start to find this more frequently in vehicle years 2000 and up.. 1999 and back you had a very good chance of not coming across this..

just need an ecu, clutch/flywheel and an efan then should be ready for the swap.

Having hard time finding the e-fan.

2" BL going in this weekend.

Body lift in (pics too come soon)
E-fan almost in.

Clutch and flywheel on the way
Miscellaneous gaskets and dipstick conversion stuff here
Ecu here.
o2 sensor new cat on the way


Just need 3.4L power steering pump and ordering a borla muffler.

Motor is in and running for about 3 months not. Highway speed is a non issue now.

how did the 3.4 swap go?? i have been interested in doing it once this 3 litre engine decides to take a shit as i have a spare engine with a super charger on it ready to go..

Everything the but electrical was easy. First attempt was an auto wiring harness to a manual ECU. Didn't go so well so found a manual harness and things went a lot smoother.

The extra 40 horse N torque was worth the headache.
