As for the name, when you are done Scooby-Doo, are you planning on using the truck to pull it? If so, why not let his partner pull him around, "Norville "Shaggy" Rogers". Even if you are not planning on using the truck "Norville Rogers" is just a funny name.

Cheers

Here are the names I like, all K9 themed of course:

"Trusty" the Tundra- Trusty was the blood hound in Lady and the Tramp

"Diefenbaker" - This was the wolf cross Dog's name on the show Due South

"Zeus" - One of Robin's Dogs in Magnum PI

Booker, I like those, and they stick with our K9 theme!

pods getting test fit and sound checked.

and some battery wiring upgrades. 4g to the alt and 1/0 to the distribution block in the rear of the truck. I also replaced the ground wires with larger gauge

So, truck cap or bed rack?

I kinda like this but a little lower. The big thing is we need to haul the dogs back there in their crates in the winter... We can always get crate covers??

so why not both and have the best of both worlds??? kinda like doing a inner roll cage for your truck cap.. make the bed rack so it fits inside the cap and high enough for your dog crates to be under and then when you need your truck cap off, you can put your tent on top..

i have been thinking of doing something like that with one of my trucks so i can have a cap when i need the extra dry storage and when it is off i can have a roof top tent on there instead..

It would be nice if your dog crates fit side by side in the bed, but I don't think they do (between the fender wells)? Could you elevate them above the fenders, have storage underneath, and still have a rack over top of them?
