Now for steering.
Should I go. Saginaw, BJ60 or mini truck?
I have 80% of the parts for all those set ups.

I like the BJ60 box with modified toyota pump (if you have one) or saginaw pump if you need to buy new.

bj60 box with any pump other than a toyota pump.. (only because i dont seem to be having any luck with them at the moment..) actually, just dont use a pump with 200000kms on it.. thats the problem..

sinse you have to fab something up anyways, go buy a performance pump from psc and throw it on your engine..

if not than go saginaw.. more than enough pressure to blow that box apart without doing any mods.. i used to have a saginaw bracket for a 2f but cant seem to find it anymore..

I do have a saginaw pump and bracket. and a BJ60 steering box. Just need the odds and ends to complete.
I will be ripping the front panels and hood off the Cruiser today and will start measuring things up.

will 4x4 labs work for you on this truck?? i guess it depends on what box you are going... the 4x4 labs arms are drilled to accept 1 ton tie rod ends and all the other aftermarket steering is 80 series tie rod ends.. that being said i love the 4x4 labs.. its just expensive is all..

Why does it matter what box you are using? And I believe luke will make them with those whimpy and expensive 80 series ends if you want. Razz

my arms have the holes reamed for the 1 ton ends. Very Happy

oh, and I think I told him I would sell them for a fairly good deal. Cool

Did some painting. First coat. I really did not like the Cruisers paint job so I changed it.
Note: This paint job is only a cover up. I did minimal body work. definitely not a restore. Next is some rear fender flares.
I do see myself restoring this unit in the future when I feel like not beating it up as much.
