After giving me nothing but problems since I bought my 2003 Alero it finally kicks the bucket.

Now to decide if im going to find an engine for it or cut my losses and get something else. Might be looking for a 4runner.

A word of advice
Do Not Buy An Alero

There are Aleros on bid at SGI. Buy for cheap, swap engine, sell.

Actually an embarrassing story. We started to take it apart and found that there was water in the intake... I had turned through a portion of the street that was clearly not draining properly. Ended up being a lot deeper than I thought. At the time it died I assumed I had just gotten some electrical wet, it wasnt till it got towed home that I saw the damage. Seeing how I have never ingested water before I just assumed that the engine went at that odd time, that is until we pulled off the intake. Anyway SGI covered it under flood damages and im inquiring if the city will cover my deductible. So she lives again. For now.
