well we were able to take the truck for a test drive a couple weeks ago. apparently it ran and drove well until the drivers side front hub went. not to sure of all that happened but I guess the hub, brake rotor and calliper and many other parts need replacing now.

so we bought a parts truck

That looked like a great deal. Last I saw he was down to asking $2500 for it.

Yes, I did purchase it in Regina and it is a '91. I'm not sure yet if we plan on keeping all the parts or not. For now we will be until we get the diesel going but if we decide to part it out I will let you guys know.

There are a few interior items I would be interested in grabbing from that if you do part it out.

It isn't in to bad of shape for what we want it for. A little surface rust just starting on the hatch and roof just above the windshield. The valve cover is seeping oil and so it the power steering, the front seets are ripped and the transmission would probably need some work. But as we are using it for parts only and we have another engine, transmition and power steering it doesn't really matter.

Well after some consideration we are going to borrow the parts we need from the new truck and then fix it up after. It is just too nice to part out.

Are you using the a/c compressor off the engine you pulled? I'm trying to source a replacement for the compressor on my 1HD-T, and I'd be interested in yours to see if it would fit.
