fixing a cab for a customer ..
Cab is a 2WD cab we got so we have some other mods to do as well .. First is the rusty floors !!



started by cutting everything out





and then some POR 15



curing overnight

its an 82 Mojave 2WD cab .. and I actually thought it was in great shape ..
you cant see in these pics , but the drip rails are perfect and windshield pillars , not like most .
Every cab I have seen of this gen (out this way anyways) has holes or is "soft" front and rear on the mounts , as well as rear back cab and w/s pillars , never mind the rocker panels !!

This is actually why , we are going to be building a FRP cab in the near future

well more the just floor repairs

battery tray and area was toast , so cut to repair



new piece made , and welded



and new tray set in place .. not epoxied just yet , just sitting there



also fixed the rear cab area

i like how you made the ribs in your floor pieces to match the factory ribs.. how did you end up doing that??

bead roller did the ribs , it was my first atempt at using this new tool

well being this is a 2wd cab , there are some mods to fit to a 4wd .
one of them being the front mount . One way is to replace the front crossmember .. probabally the easiest , but I dont have one , and I cant find one , so heres how I'm going to fix it :





some welding , and finishing , and I can check this part off the list
