very nice so far!! I love all the work you put into these trucks... but why the upside down shocks though?? the boots should be at the bottom and allowing the water and stuff to drain out rather than an insulated boot to keep the water in..??

Thanks , but shocks are not up side down .. there is only 1 way to mount the fronts . and as for the rears , the boot is only there to protect the rod from debris + there are drain holes in the boots in case of water

originally when Tom and I talked about the truck , we were going to either rebuild or do an engine "swap" .. The swap and rebuild was axed , as really the engine is running great , and fit Toms needs most excellently Smile . The rebuild was deleted from the Budget .

so , although it is not in the budget , there is just no way I can not at least clean it up some what . so all cleaned and detailed , we got it in place today ...

going to add some powder coated pieces .. and hope this will make Toms experiance with us a happy one ...

so yeahhh ..fresh painted cab this morning

although Tom lives in Cali , you saw the rust, so got busy with the undercoating

heat shields also installed , and working on the engine bay before lowering it onto the frame . replaced some old and dilapidated washer fluid hose

should look real perdy with blue fluid in there Smile

and basically where we finished up the day

cab floor done with sound deadner .. we use "B-Quiet" it's a Canadian product , and I love it ..

also working on the floor mat , rubber (customer supplied , purchace from accmats.com ) . I have used there carpet and have been happy with the fitment , but this rubber mat is crap , imo , I have about 3-4 hours in to it now with a heat gun trying to get it to fit , and it just dosnt .

I know most of it would be "hidden" , but I'm not one to hide things , so we're X naying the rubber for carpet . - ORDERED

also working on the heating and air conditioning system .. All washed and cleaned + all new seals for the units and the ducts .

so after checking out some carpets onlline , and realizing the wait , I decided to call my "interior guy" and do a CUSTOM piece . This is 10X's better I feel , and really what this truck desurves . Cost is not that much more then the online stuff , and this way I know it's right ! and fits ..

full underlay

and some new color going in .. not done just yet , but will be finished Monday

also , got the headliner , moon roof and visor all cleaned and installed
it's BEAUTIFULL !!!
