My christmas present is coming just a tad late!!!! Almost a year after we started to toss around the idea of getting a tundra my wife decided it was time and got everything set up. She told me just before christmas because she wanted me to finalize all the details to make sure I got what I wanted. Its sitting a Rainbow Toyota now, should be able to pick it up next Thursday or Friday. Laughing

Got the truck because the family is getting bigger. The cruiser is great but when it does need work its usually down for awhile. Its hard to find time to get things fixed quick these days.

When we don't have the cruiser we are stuck with the jetta and three kids in the back is very tight, and when they don't get along its a nightmare!

So basically we got it for more space and that it will be turn key and go whenever we need with no issues.(I hope) With a family of 5 and big dog!! The cruiser fills up fast and I didn't like the idea of having to haul a trailer every time we want to go and vist family for a few day, the truck will make this easier and more enjoyable.

Congrats, I love mine. You and the family will be very happy with all the room in the Crewmax. You will not brag about the fuel economy however. Keep an eye out for some nicer rims, I got a set of TRD wheels with winter tires for $500 for mine from a dealer that put a lift kit and bigger wheels/tires on one before they sold it.

These would look a lot better than the steelies:

The reason I can't pick it up until next Thursday is because it's booked in Monday for a little face lift before I pick it up!! Twisted Evil

Glad to hear it works well for you, I hope it works well for us.

ahhhh, i think they are one of the only toyota dealerships that support dealer aproved lifts and other mods in Saskatchewan arent they??? Cool i know ens here does a litttle but they would wrather sell you a stock truck and not have anything to do with lifts and such..

well, whatever happens dont make it too tall or else you will have to buy steps to get the kids in and out of the thing.. i cant wait to see what you bring home!!

2014 is the first year that all tundras come with a back up camera. I was super happy when I found that out.
