I think he was just getting sick of having to pop the hood to show people his sick supra swap ...

The motor was dying randomly, more often later in the day when it got hotter out. We thought it could have been vaporizing the fuel especially since it would fire u again after sitting for a few minutes. Turns out it was issues with the fuel pump control, either a bad relay or a problem with the harness itself. I ended up wiring the fuel pump direct off ign power for the rest of the trip.

Before the truck gets wheeled again in the heat I need to get some hood vents. With no rad fan up front to move air underhood temps worry me. I may even run a couple small fans to evacuate some heat.

I will post wheeling pics tomorrow but for now I'm going to focus on the social aspects.
I don't know what my friend was thinking but when he showed up in his tight Daisy Dukes but it made the trip down to SD a very long 10 hours.
The pockets would hang lower than the shorts when he was sitting in my truck. Ugh...... It was like a train wreck....you couldn't help but look. It was like Daisy Duke was sitting next to me, with giant hairy legs and a moose knuckle!
I took him to Walmart as soon as it came into view. No man should wear this type of thing. What the hell was he thinking?

Get some new shorts man!

I thought that was the end of it but I thought wrong...

Then this camp exploded...

And the guys that were camped there pissed in jugs and threw them all over the park.
"Way of the road" they said.....

My video for those of you not on facebook from my drive out and day 1.
Trail 1 was actually Rice Krispies not Cheerio trail.
First video edit I have ever done. There is a combination of video and pictures featuring BenP, DP and My rig and some of the other guys that we met up with out in the Blackhills.

Hope to get the other 2 days edited over the next few weeks. Its a long video but a good watch.

enjoy
