Just and FYI.

I was talking to Keith at Allparts Automotive.
He has a full yard and is starting to haul stuff away to the crusher.
He has a few 1st gen rolling chasis solid axle pickups/4runners.
There is a chance that they will be getting hauled off too.

If anyone is looking at doing a solid axle swap, gear changes, etc. you might be able to pick these up for some pretty good prices.

Perhaps save a few good parts from going to the crusher.

his number there is 757-4321

Hmm, wonder if he has some solid axle power steering setups. Thats what I need to upgrade to power steering on my 40.

i dont know if i would be too keen on upgrading your truck with early mini truck power steering. i tried to keep the push pull system and used a minitruck power steering setup back in the day and it was pretty weak..

what wasnt too bad at all was the saginaw setup.. early 4.35 turn box with a saginaw pump bracket that is a bolt on to the 2f using the saginaw pump..... tons of power.. you will need to upgrade your engine pulley to a double pulley if it doesnt have one already.. also the borgeson steering sahft stuff was a nice upgrade and made things easy to adapt...

I would call him directly. It sounded like the frames were in good shape which is why he held onto them for as long as he has.
