My oldest has been hounding me to get something that we can fix up, he's only 9!! So I figured why not. Pulling him out of school and were headed to Nipawin tomorrow to pick this up.

Let the fun begin and the father son bonding commence.

So just a little back story on how we came up with the name. My oldest initials are JP, also my family still has a trademarked cattle brand that goes back to the early 1900's maybe even the late 1800's and it was JP Bar. We still have the branding iron so I'm planing on burning it into some wood and incorporating it into the build.

As for "express" because we want to keep a industrial theme to the car and the idea of a old steam train just seemed to fit. I'm going to find some old steam engine gauges and use them for the gauges in the car.

We also found this the other day in the car it just needed some cleaning up.

It's still all coming together but it's been a lot of fun so far.
